A Special message from Frank Carle, ABCi Managing Director:

Catching Ball Frank Carle

In the 2016–2017 school year, ABCi native speakers will give free English language, culture and sport projects to almost 80,000 Austrian children while working closely with over 2,000 teachers from 700 Austrian schools, demonstrating innovative methods to increase speaking competences in the classroom. This school year will also see over 10,000 new members join to support these activities and help bring over 90 native speaking student teachers from English-speaking countries to visit Austrian classrooms. This is made possible thanks to the generous support of Porsche Salzburg. But why English? English has become the world’s Lingua franca. Cultural exchange and understanding requires us all to become proficient in its use. ABCi’s mission is to reach every pupil in Austria with native speakers from English-speaking countries by the year 2020. Get in touch with us now to support us reach our goal!
